Home & Online Yoga Classes in Jaipur

Two ways to practise when the studio is not practical: Ritika comes to your home across Mansarovar and nearby colonies, or teaches you live on video wherever you are. Both are one-to-one.

Who are home and online classes for?

People for whom the studio batch is the obstacle rather than the yoga. That is usually a scheduling problem, a mobility problem, or a privacy preference — and all three are solved the same way, by bringing the class to you.

  • New mothers cleared to restart, who cannot leave the house for an hour yet
  • Senior students for whom the travel is harder than the practice
  • Women who would rather practise privately at home than in any group
  • Shift workers and people whose meetings never respect a 6:00 AM batch
  • Students recovering from an injury who need one-to-one attention for a few weeks
  • People who have moved away from Jaipur but want to keep practising with the same teacher

Ritika comes to you

Yoga classes at home in Jaipur

Ritika travels to you with mats and props if you need them. Sessions are 45 or 60 minutes, usually two or three days a week.

Areas covered for home visits

  • Mansarovar — the whole sector, including the areas nearest the studio
  • Agarwal Farm — walking distance; the easiest slots to get
  • Shipra Path
  • SFS Mansarovar
  • Gopalpura Bypass
  • Pratap Nagar
  • Jhalana Chhod

Home slots are limited, because each visit costs travel time as well as class time. If your address is further out, an online session is usually the better answer — ask and you will get an honest reply either way.

What a home session needs from you

  • About two metres by two metres of clear floor — a bedroom or a drawing room with the table moved
  • A firm, non-slippery surface. Thick carpet and loose rugs make balance work harder
  • Quiet for the hour, as far as that is possible in your household
  • A wall you can use for support in standing and balance postures
  • Nothing else. Mats, blocks and belts are brought if you do not have them

The practice itself is the same syllabus as the studio — hatha, pranayama and relaxation — adapted to the space you have and to whatever your body is dealing with.

You join from anywhere

Online yoga classes, live on video

Live sessions, not recordings. Ritika sees you, corrects you by voice, and changes the plan when something is not working — which a video cannot do.

What you need for an online class

  • A yoga mat, and about two metres by two metres of clear floor
  • A stable internet connection — video quality matters more than speed
  • A phone or laptop placed side-on, at roughly knee height, so your whole body is visible
  • Two firm cushions and a belt or dupatta, which cover most prop needs
  • A wall within reach for balance and supported postures

How online sessions stay personal

  • One-to-one, or two people at most — never a grid of thirty faces
  • The camera is placed so Ritika can see your alignment, not just your head
  • Corrections are given by voice and by demonstration, with the specific cue you need
  • Your plan is written for you, and revised as you progress
  • If you miss a session, you reschedule it with a person, not with a subscription
Get the camera right and everything else follows

Side-on, low, and far enough back that your mat fits in the frame from head to feet. Most first online sessions lose five minutes to a phone propped against a water bottle pointing at the ceiling. Set it up once and it never needs fixing again.

What does a typical one-to-one session look like?

The same shape at home or online. Because it is one-to-one, more of the hour is spent on the two or three things that are specific to you and less on general sequencing.

A 60-minute one-to-one session
MinutesWhat happens
0–5How the week has gone, what hurts today, what you managed to practise on your own
5–15Joint mobility and warm-up, adjusted to the space you have
15–40Main practice — your sequence, built around your goals and your restrictions
40–50Pranayama, chosen for what you need most: energy in the morning, settling at night
50–60Relaxation, then two or three things to practise before the next session

What students notice

Benefits of practising one-to-one

Reported by students over months of steady attendance. Yoga supports general wellbeing and is complementary to medical care — it does not replace your doctor's advice.

Nothing gets missed

In a batch of twelve, an off day passes unnoticed. One-to-one, it is the first thing discussed.

Faster progress on specifics

A stiff shoulder or a nervous knee gets the whole hour's attention when it needs to.

No travel to negotiate

For new mothers and senior students, the journey was often the reason practice stopped.

Complete privacy

Some students simply do not want to practise in front of anyone. That is a good enough reason.

A practice that fits your room

You learn the sequence in the space you will actually use on the days there is no class.

Continuity if you move

Students who leave Jaipur usually switch to online rather than starting over with somebody new.

Timings & fees

Scheduling home and online sessions

Home and online slots sit around the studio batches, so early morning, mid-day and late evening are the times most often available.

One-to-one home and online fees differ from the group batches because the whole hour is yours. Both are published openly — you do not have to call to find out what a month costs.

Questions

Home & online yoga FAQs

Which areas of Jaipur do you visit for home yoga classes?

Home visits run across Mansarovar, Agarwal Farm, Shipra Path, SFS Mansarovar, Gopalpura Bypass, Pratap Nagar and Jhalana Chhod. Slots in these areas are limited because each visit takes travel time as well as class time, so it is worth asking early. For addresses further out, an online session is usually the better answer.

How much space do I need at home for a yoga class?

About the size of a yoga mat plus an arm span around it — roughly two metres by two metres of clear floor. A cleared bedroom floor, a drawing room with the centre table moved aside, or a terrace early in the morning all work. A mat can be brought for you if you do not own one yet.

What do I need for an online yoga class?

A mat, roughly two metres by two metres of clear floor, a stable internet connection, and a phone or laptop placed side-on at about knee height so your whole body is visible. Two cushions and a belt or dupatta cover most prop needs. That is genuinely all.

Is an online yoga class as good as being in the studio?

For one-to-one work it is closer than most people expect, because Ritika is watching only you rather than a room of twelve. What is lost is hands-on adjustment; what is gained is that you actually practise, in your own space, on the days you would otherwise have skipped.

Can a family practise together in a home session?

Yes, and it is a common arrangement — a couple, a parent and adult child, or two neighbours sharing one slot. Beyond three people in a home the session stops being personal, so at that point Ritika will usually suggest joining a studio batch instead.

Can I take online classes from outside Jaipur or from abroad?

Yes. Several online students live in other cities, and a few outside India. Sessions are scheduled around your time zone — early morning India time suits students in the Gulf and Europe, and evening India time works for students in the United States.
